John Buford Stephens, one of the original DJ’s on Lawrence County’s first radio station, WMLC-AM, is now back on the air on 101.3 fm, WDRO, playing the greatest music ever recorded from the 60’s & 70’s, a touch of Gospel …..plus some forgotten greats!!
We’ve got great local shows on the air! “The Brother’s Pen” is hosted by Bro. Richard Green…an inspiring look into the Christian way of life. “Another One of Those Lamberts” hosted by the late Kent Lambert. A two-hour recorded show featuring Kent’s eclectic mix of music styles! And there’s “Three Chords & The Truth” with host Cindy Carr Williamson. This show takes us to the “REAL COUNTRY” era of oldies country! And then…the show that’s been heard in this part of Mississippi and around the world for years: “It’s Only Rock & Roll” with Keith May. If you haven’t heard this show, get ready to listen for a wild ride of Album Oriented Rock!
